Care for Common and Complex Conditions

From everyday vision concerns to more involved conditions, we are here to help you see and feel your best. Here is how we approach care for the conditions we treat most:

Dry Eye Relief

Dry, gritty, or irritated eyes can affect your comfort throughout the day. We identify what is causing your dry eye and provide treatment to relieve symptoms and protect the surface of your eyes, so daily activities like reading and screen time feel more comfortable.

Presbyopia and Astigmatism

As we get older, focusing on near objects becomes harder. This is called presbyopia, and it is a normal part of aging. Astigmatism, caused by the shape of the cornea, can blur vision at any distance. We offer clear options to correct both so you can read, work, and drive with comfort.

Personalized Treatment Plans

No two sets of eyes are the same. We take time to understand your vision, your health, and your daily routine, then recommend treatment that fits your needs. Our goal is clear, comfortable vision and healthy eyes for the long term.

Effective Myopia Control for Children

Does your child struggle to see distant objects clearly? Discover effective myopia control for children at Acworth Family Eyecare! Our team specializes in personalized treatments to manage your child's myopia (nearsightedness), enhancing vision and eye health. Myopia causes clear near vision but blurry distant sight due to the eye's shape. Genetic and environmental factors play a role.

We offer comprehensive assessments, using advanced tools to craft tailored treatment plans, including options like multifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology (ortho-k), atropine therapy, MiSight lenses, and others — all safe and proven solutions, even for those kids who suffer from dry eye. Secure your child's vision by requesting an appointment today.

How Does Ortho-K Work?

Orthokeratology (ortho-k) offers a non-surgical solution for childhood myopia. Customized gas-permeable contact lenses are worn overnight, gently reshaping the cornea. Upon waking, patients can remove the lenses, temporarily correcting their vision.

Regular use can slow myopia progression, reducing the need for stronger prescriptions. Safe and effective, ortho-k empowers kids to enjoy clear daytime vision without glasses or contacts.
